Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a Maintenance Planner to lead workload planning and scheduling for the Morenci mining complex. You will partner with site supervisors to plan, analyze, and drive maintenance tasks, ensuring timely execution and data integrity in SAP.

The role requires strong planning experience in mining/industrial operations, a solid grasp of maintenance management systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. On-site duties include collaboration with supply and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 6 years of field maintenance experience in mining/industrial operations.
• 6 years of planning experience in mining/manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Associates in a technical field with 4 years related experience in field maintenance or industrial operations.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 2 years related experience in field maintenance.
• Understanding of Maintenance Planning/Scheduling concepts.
• Understanding of mining/processing equipment function.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP).

Responsibilities

• Lead workload activities by planning, scheduling, measuring, and analyzing maintenance tasks with site supervisors.
• Manage and maintain information systems to support planning objectives.
• Develop and monitor schedules in SAP and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Prepare scopes of work and interface with Global Supply Chain for parts and services.
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports to measure KPIs.
