Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 7–10 years of progressive project management experience in heavy civil construction.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methods.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of heavy civil construction projects from planning to close-out.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, with cost-control systems.
• Oversee project teams including superintendents and foremen; provide guidance and performance management.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors; ensure clear communication.
• Negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to meet timelines and safety standards.
• Prepare regular project reports for senior management detailing progress and finances.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality control, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in identifying new business opportunities and proposals when required.
