Job summary

Faulconer Construction in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale heavy civil projects ($25M+) from handoff to closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality. You will mentor Operations and Field staff while maintaining strong client relationships and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include developing project execution plans, coordinating procurement, managing contracts, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of North Carolina.
• DBIA Certification, or ability to obtain within the first year of employment.
• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead major projects from handoff through closeout ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget objectives.
• Serve as primary contact for Owners, General Contractors, Engineers, Subcontractors, Vendors, and regulatory agencies.
• Develop project execution plans and milestones; manage procurement activities and contract administration.
• Mentor and lead Operations and Field staff; coordinate staffing and hiring for field positions.
• Prepare status reports, cost forecasts, and cost-to-complete projections; manage project closeout activities.
