Job summary

Branch Civil is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead on high-value construction projects in North Carolina. You will work closely with project leadership to ensure timely completion, quality outcomes, and financial success, while guiding staff and coordinating with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers.

The role requires strong PM experience on large site projects, proficiency with scheduling and financial tools, and a proven ability to manage contracts and teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Associates degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• 5+ years of industry project management experience on site, with projects >$20M.
• Experience using P6 scheduling software, MS Office, financial software and/or project management software.
• PM experience managing multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing, training, and mentoring the PE staff.
• Assist and advise on contracting strategies, and financial management.
• Support preconstruction activities including design-build procurement.
• Assist in developing new business opportunities and fostering owner relationships.
• Authority on contract between Owner, GC, and the Company to ensure project administration.
• Responsible for all aspects of the project’s contract management, scheduling, budget, quality, safety, and employee development.
• Manage profit margins and all financial aspects of assigned construction projects.
• Draft and execute subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Review and approve monthly subcontractor pay requisitions.
• Develop and update project schedules in coordination with the Superintendent.
