Job summary

B&S Site Development in Virginia seeks a Heavy Civil Foreman to lead on-site operations, coordinate crews, and ensure safety and adherence to project plans. This role drives efficient execution and quality in complex civil construction projects for critical infrastructure.

The Foreman will oversee storm, water, and sanitary sewer installations, read blueprints, and mentor crew members, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork on challenging sites across our Virginia operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of underground utility experience; leadership role preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred; CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate on-site crew activities.
• Oversee installation of storm, water, and sanitary sewer systems.
• Ensure work meets plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Maintain daily reports and site documentation.
• Lead by example and enforce safety protocols.
• Assist with training and mentoring crew members.
