Job summary

B&S Site Development is seeking a Heavy Civil Foreman to lead on-site crews, oversee storm and sewer system installations, and ensure work aligns with plans and safety standards. The role requires strong leadership and the ability to read blueprints.

You will report to site management, coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and inspectors, and maintain daily site documentation. We value safety, accountability, and a hands-on approach to training crew members.

Qualifications

• 3+ years underground utility experience, with 1+ year in a leadership role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes.
• Knowledge of excavation, grading, utility installation, and site layout.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a physically demanding environment and varying weather conditions.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate crew activities on-site.
• Oversee installation of storm, water, and sanitary sewer systems.
• Ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and site documentation.
• Lead by example and enforce safety protocols.
• Assist with training and mentoring crew members.
