Job summary

B&S Site Development is seeking a Heavy Civil Foreman to oversee on-site operations at our large civil construction projects in Virginia. You will serve as the primary link between field crews and site management, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specs.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of construction methods and safety protocols; CDL and OSHA certifications are a plus, with a focus on

Qualifications

• 3+ years of underground utility experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of utility installation methods and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Physically able to work in demanding environments and various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate crew activities on-site.
• Oversee installation of storm, water, and sanitary sewer systems.
• Ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and site documentation.
• Lead by example and enforce safety protocols.
• Assist with training and mentoring crew members.
