Job summary

Michels Construction, Inc. in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Heavy Civil Estimator / Project Manager to drive successful delivery of major infrastructure projects from pre-construction through completion.

You will prepare accurate estimates, secure work, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate execution while building strong client relationships. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of heavy civil estimating experience, proficiency with MS Office, and knowledge of HCSS/B2W.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent.
• 5+ years of heavy civil/construction estimating experience.
• Experience with earthwork, underground utilities, roadway, site development, concrete, or other infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of estimating and scheduling software (HCSS, B2W).
• Must possess a valid driver license and be able to travel for jobsite visits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and secure work for heavy civil projects.
• Manage budgets and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate project execution and field collaboration with teams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support pre-construction efforts and risk assessments.
