Job summary

Michels Corporation is seeking a Heavy Civil Estimator / Project Manager to support delivery of complex projects from pre-construction through completion. The role focuses on accurate estimating, securing work, and managing budgets and schedules while coordinating execution and maintaining strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree in construction management and 5+ years of heavy civil estimating experience, with knowledge of earthwork, utilities, roadway work, site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent
• 5+ years of heavy civil estimating experience
• Experience with earthwork, underground utilities, roadway, site development, concrete or similar
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of estimating and scheduling software (HCSS, B2W)
• Valid driver license and willingness to travel for jobsite visits

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and secure work for projects
• Manage budgets and schedules from pre-construction through completion
• Coordinate project execution and relationships with clients
• Collaborate with team to ensure high quality and timely delivery
