Job summary

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in a related role.
• Healthcare setting experience is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
• Ability to independently plan, organize, develop, prioritize and execute decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Seek out ways to improve organizational processes, design systems to implement changes, and train and motivate others to use these systems.
• Supervise the upgrade of existing systems or the installation of new systems.
• Define/analyze system problems, design and test standards and solutions, and implement computer system requirements.
• Provide support for software applications and project teams in designing and implementing new IT solutions.
• Understand interfaces and design workflows with interface analysts to optimize department efficiencies.
• Partner with multiple departments across financial and clinical areas including Billing/AR, AP, Registration, Radiology, HIM, Scheduling, Materials Management.
• Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously for several hospital departments.
• Perform basic report writing and collaborate with developers for more complex requests.
• On-call support for system issues is required.
