Job summary

Stantec in the United States is seeking a Health Sector Project Manager with a deep background in healthcare design to lead major projects and guide multi-disciplinary teams. You will engage with clients, align internal resources, and champion design excellence across North America.

You will mentor colleagues, develop new business opportunities, and collaborate with marketing and technical leaders to deliver fiscally sound, award-winning healthcare environments that improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in healthcare with interest in specialty focus along with appreciation for markets such as Acute Care, Outpatient Care, Women’s Health, Behavioral Health, Cancer/Proton Therapy, Modular Design, Long Term Care and Seniors Living.
• Demonstrated design and planning acumen and leadership on major projects.
• Ability to lead project teams across a range of healthcare project types and scales.
• Experience with responding to EOI, SOQs, RFPs, interviews and professional fee/contract negotiations.
• Strong business development skills and experience building client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: lead design and delivery of major healthcare projects.
• Client Development / Business Development: grow revenue and attract top tier clients.
• Staff Development / Mentoring: mentor designers and junior staff.
• Technical / Architectural Leadership: provide guidance on design excellence and project feasibility.
• Other Responsibilities: balance regional responsibilities and independent decision making on projects.
