Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager-Healthcare for the Buildings practice in the Phoenix area. You will lead complex healthcare projects from planning through design development and construction, ensuring budgets, schedules, and design intents are met while mentoring junior staff.

You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams, manage change orders, and prepare accurate forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field is required.
• License must be current in any state.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex tasks on medium-to-large-size projects.
• Plan, organize, and direct work through the project lifecycle to deliver to the client.
• Keep the Principal in Charge informed of progress, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Lead client and project team to ensure budget, schedule, program, and design intent are met.
• Assist in negotiation and development of project agreements.
• Develop and manage project budget, schedule, and overall work plan to achieve financial targets.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and motivate project teams.
• Ensure Project Management Framework tasks are completed and documented.
• Lead project coordination and owner/site meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Manage and track change orders and payments, and other contractual modifications impacting budget/schedule.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager on staffing needs and personnel recommendations.
• Direct client invoicing and manage collections effectively.
