Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team seeks a Senior Project Manager-Healthcare to lead planning, design and project delivery for healthcare facilities. You will manage budgets, schedules, and teams, coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors to achieve sustainable, fiscally responsible outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of codes and construction processes, and experience with design teams. Local field work and collaboration across locations are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• License required (any state).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing complex tasks on medium-to-large-size projects.
• Plan, organize, and direct the work to deliver the project to the client.
• Keep the Principal in Charge informed of progress and deadlines.
• Lead the client and project team to meet budget, schedule, program, and design intent.
• Assist in negotiation and development of project agreements.
• Develop and manage budget, schedule, and work plan to realize targets.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and motivate project teams.
• Ensure Project Management Framework tasks are completed and documented.
• Lead coordination meetings with clients, owners, consultants, and contractors.
• Manage change orders and payments affecting budget and schedule.
• Determine staffing needs with Operations Manager.
