Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Principal Architectural Lead for the Health Sector in North America. You will lead healthcare design delivery, engage with North American leaders, and mentor teams to drive award-winning projects while growing regional health sector revenue.

You will champion integrated design delivery, build long‑term client bonds, and develop proposals in partnership with marketing to win new work across multiple healthcare markets.

Qualifications

• Recent healthcare experience with interest in Academic Medical Center, Acute Care, Ambulatory Care, etc.
• Acumen in project delivery innovations (CMR, IPD, APD, Modular approaches).
• Proven design and planning leadership on major healthcare projects.
• Ability to lead project teams across healthcare types and balance a book of business.
• Technical understanding of architecture for health facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and delivery of major healthcare projects.
• Interface with North America leaders across the design practice.
• Inspire the team and reinforce Stantec's health brand.
• Sustain and grow regional revenue in the health sector.
• Lead pursuits including proposals and client engagement.
• Seller-doer generating work and long-term client relationships.
• Develop industry relationships and recruit talent.
• Contribute to thought leadership and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor next generation of designers and thought leaders.
