Job summary

Payerset is seeking a data-savvy consultant to bridge enterprise datasets with client needs, focusing on real-world pricing insights in healthcare. You will be the primary client contact for rapid data work, onboarding, and complex analyses to maximize platform value.

Ideal candidates combine 5+ years of consulting with expertise in reimbursement strategies, large dataset manipulation, and executive-facing communication. We offer flexible remote work with onsite visits as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consulting experience, preferably at boutique or mid-sized firms.
• Deep understanding of provider or payer side of contract negotiations and managed care.
• Expert-level data analysis skills; comfortable building complex analyses and querying/manipulating large datasets.
• Thrives in a high-growth, startup environment with independence and periods of high intensity and strategic downtime.
• Ability to engage with senior buyers and translate complex data into actionable reimbursement strategies.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or healthcare-focused advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and onboarding process with in-depth walkthroughs and technical setup.
• Build custom reports and analyses in direct partnership with customers for contract negotiations, rate benchmarking, and market analysis.
• Manage a dynamic workflow to provide quick-response help for urgent data needs from customers.
• Help build foundational frameworks and playbooks for implementations, best practices, and guides.
• Partner with the product team directly on new features as the voice of the customer.
