Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking a Senior Project Manager to independently lead medium to large-scale healthcare and technology projects. You will ensure delivery within scope, timeline, and budget, acting as the liaison with stakeholders and providing regular updates to clients and leadership.

You will mentor junior project managers, drive risk management, and align project execution with business objectives while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• PMP or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred or actively pursuing.
• Experience with healthcare delivery systems, Medicaid/Medicare programs, or government contracts preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, PowerPoint); direct experience using Microsoft Project or similar tools required.

Responsibilities

• Manages end-to-end delivery of projects with moderate to high complexity, on schedule, within scope and budget.
• Leads cross-functional project teams and coordinates with clients on activities and status updates.
• Tracks milestones, deliverables, and metrics using project management tools and reporting systems.
• Manages project risks, develops mitigation strategies, and escalates concerns when needed.
• Prepares executive-level reports and communicates with senior leadership and clients.
• Owns and monitors project budgets, forecasts resources, and collaborates with finance to manage financials.
