Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Project Manager to drive mid-size to large initiatives from concept to delivery within budget and on schedule.

You will lead the project lifecycle, coordinate resources, manage risks, and communicate status to stakeholders, while ensuring quality and timely outcomes. The role requires organizational prowess and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business or related field or equivalent experience as determined by the company
• 3 years of project management experience delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Jira, Asana, etc.)
• PMP certification is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, resources, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Scope Management: Define and manage project scope to align with business objectives and manage changes.
• Resource Management: Allocate resources to optimize performance and meet deadlines.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate progress, address concerns, and manage expectations.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues with RAID logs.
• Reporting & Documentation: Create status reports and maintain project artifacts.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and motivate project teams for productive environment.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality controls to meet defined standards.
• Other duties as assigned or requested
