Job summary

Acentra Health seeks a Senior Project Manager to independently lead medium to large-scale healthcare and technology projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. You will liaise with stakeholders, provide updates to clients and leadership, and proactively manage risks and resources to achieve project goals.

You will mentor junior project managers and ensure alignment with business objectives, governance, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• PMP or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with healthcare delivery systems, Medicaid/Medicare programs, or government contracts preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; direct experience using Microsoft Project or similar tools required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects with moderate to high complexity, ensuring on schedule, within scope and budget.
• Coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams; provide status updates.
• Prepare executive-level reports and presentations; communicate with senior leadership and clients.
• Monitor budgets and forecast resources; collaborate with finance and leadership.
• Ensure adherence to governance, HIPAA/privacy/security compliance.
• Mentor junior Project Managers and coordinators; support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage risks by identifying issues early, developing mitigation strategies, and escalating as needed.
