Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking a Senior Project Manager to independently lead medium to large-scale healthcare and technology projects. You will serve as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, provide regular client and leadership updates, and proactively manage risks and resources to meet scope, timeline, and budget.

You will mentor junior project managers, prepare executive reports, and drive alignment between project execution and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Information Systems or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• PMP or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred or actively pursuing certification.
• Experience with healthcare delivery systems, Medicaid/Medicare, or government contracts is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; direct experience using Microsoft Project or similar tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of medium to large-scale healthcare and technology projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and communicate with clients on activities, deliverables, and status.
• Track milestones, deliverables, and metrics using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and reporting systems.
• Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate concerns when needed.
• Align project execution with broader business strategy and client objectives.
• Prepare executive-level reports and conduct stakeholder presentations for leadership.
• Own budgets, forecast resources, and manage financials with finance and leadership.
• Ensure adherence to governance, HIPAA/privacy/security rules, and contractual requirements.
• Mentor junior Project Managers and coordinators to strengthen the team.
• Lead process improvements and tool enhancements to improve delivery outcomes.
