Job summary

NextGen Healthcare seeks a Sr. Interoperability & Integration Solutions Advisor to lead integration projects and design data exchange between healthcare systems. You will develop APIs, ensure HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR compliance, and provide strategic advisory services to clients.

You will mentor junior engineers, engage with clients to align solutions with business goals, and oversee complex data integration initiatives across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in data integration, ETL development or interoperability within healthcare/IT.
• Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as Mirth, Cloverleaf or Corepoint.
• Experience with cloud-based integration solutions and services (preferred).
• Certifications in relevant integration technologies (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data integration solutions and ETL workflows.
• Develop and deploy APIs and custom interoperability solutions.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex issues.
• Ensure solutions comply with HL7, FHIR, HIPAA standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and deliver advisory services.
• Perform other duties supporting the position's objectives.
