Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee facility maintenance, safety, and operations across its aging care environments. You will manage staff, coordinate preventive programs, and ensure compliance with health regulations while driving continuous improvement.

The role requires expertise in facility systems, leadership, and a commitment to high standards of care. A boiler license is required and a Minnesota license is preferred; a sign-on bonus of $5,000 is

Qualificações

• Must have thorough knowledge of general maintenance (boilers, HVAC, electrical).
• Boiler license is required.
• Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community.
• Minnesota Engineer-Class C license is preferred.
• At least 21 years of age and high school diploma completed.
• Two years of maintenance and power plant experience desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, and maintain a clean, safe environment; oversee plumbing, electrical, HVAC, water/sewage, and fire alarm systems; follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Perform, document, and coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs; manage outside areas and contractor visits.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance staff; delegate duties, conduct performance evaluations, and participate in hiring, disciplining, and promotions.
• Order, receive, store, and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies; document purchases and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations; participate in inspections, audits, QA meetings, and policy development; maintain knowledge of MN Department of Health regulations and residents’ rights.
• Promote positive workplace culture, strong customer service, continuous quality improvement, and teamwork; attend continuing education and support other departments as needed.
