Compass Group USA's TouchPoint unit is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for a hospital setting. The role directs daily operations of the environmental services department, coordinates staff, and partners with administration to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifikationen

• Physical requirements include walking 5+ miles daily during monitoring operations.
• Experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory/management experience.
• Strong work ethic, drive and initiative for quality and customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills both one-on-one and in groups.
• Participative approach to managing staff.
• Understanding of budgeting processes and awareness of profit and loss.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills and prioritization.
• Ability to function under stressful conditions.
• CRCST or related sterile processing certification preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet).
• Associate's degree preferred.

Aufgaben

• Direct and oversee operating needs of hospital environmental services department.
• Coordinate tasks of department associates and assist in training.
• Liaise between administration and unit departments and provide high service.
• Conduct frequent rounds throughout facility; be on feet most of shift.
• Walk 5+ miles daily as part of role.
• Monitor department financial data and statistics.
• Monitor unit expenditures.
• Develop and manage operating budget to keep within budget.
• Coordinate housekeeping with other departments.
• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and supervise department functions.
• Establish work standards and workflow.
• Establish and implement policies and procedures.
• Mentor staff creativity and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Support facility goals and objectives.
• Lead in achieving performance plans.
• Read, develop, and administer Total Quality Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
