Job summary

TouchPoint, a Compass Group company, seeks an Environmental Services Manager to oversee hospital department operations and coordinate staffing. The role involves daily rounds, budgeting oversight, and collaboration with administration to meet facility goals.

The ideal candidate will lead a team, mentor staff, and ensure high standards of service, safety, and regulatory compliance across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable walking 5+ miles per day while monitoring operations and staff.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for department’s financial data and statistics.
• Monitoring unit expenditures.
• Develops and recommends department operating budget and ensure the department operates within budget.
• Coordinates housekeeping activities with other departments.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and supervises department functions.
• Establishes work standards and workflow.
• Implements policies and procedures for departmental operations.
• Mentors staff creativity and innovation.
• Ensures regulatory compliance.
• Aims to achieve facility goals and objectives.
• Leads Total Quality Management processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
