Job summary

TouchPoint is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to oversee housekeeping operations in a 450-bed acute care hospital environment. You will work to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming setting for patients, visitors, and staff while developing frontline associates and aligning operations with regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, budget awareness, and strong customer service in a fast-paced healthcare context.

Qualifications

• Environmental Services or Housekeeping experience.
• 3 years of supervisory or management experience is required.
• Acute care hospital or long-term care experience.
• CRCST or other applicable sterile processing certification preferred.
• Experience with budgeting, expense management, and operational performance metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services department.
• Supervise, coach, and develop department associates while promoting a culture of accountability and service excellence.
• Coordinate housekeeping activities across hospital departments to support operational needs.
• Monitor departmental financial performance, expenses, and budget adherence.
• Establish and maintain work standards, productivity expectations, and workflow processes.
• Implement and support departmental policies, procedures, and quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with hospital, regulatory, infection prevention, and safety standards.
• Partner with hospital leadership and department managers to address service needs and enhance patient satisfaction.
• Support staff training, engagement, recognition, and performance management efforts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and customer service.
• Participate in achieving facility goals and departmental performance objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
