Job summary

Sierra is seeking a Senior Healthcare Integrations Engineer to design and implement robust EHR integrations. You will work with healthcare providers, health plans, and software teams to ensure seamless patient data flows and reliable go-lives.

The role requires deep EHR knowledge (Epic/athenahealth/Oracle Health/eClinicalWorks/MEDITECH), strong API skills, and a track record of delivering complex third‑party integrations in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare interoperability or EHR implementation.
• Deep expertise in at least one major EHR ecosystem (Epic, athenahealth, Oracle Health, eClinicalWorks, MEDITECH).
• Knowledge of patient-access workflows (scheduling, registration, referrals).
• Technical fluency in healthcare integrations; experience with FHIR/HL7, vendor APIs, or file-based exchange.
• Track record of taking third-party integrations through deployment.
• Strong communication and independent judgment to lead discovery and explain recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Design integrations grounded in real healthcare workflows.
• Resolve EHR complexity and blockers with stakeholders.
• Guide integration readiness through go-live and validation.
• Assist in customer discovery with Sales and Engineering.
• Shape the integration roadmap and reusable platform capabilities.
• Create reference designs and implementation guides from deployments.
