Job summary

WebMD Ignite, a division of WebMD and Internet Brands, is seeking a Solution Architect, Epic to serve as the lead technical authority on Epic integrations and platform extensions. You will own the Epic relationship end-to-end and define repeatable integration patterns for campaigns, patient portals, and communications.

This senior, client-facing role requires deep Epic knowledge, strong data standards expertise, and the ability to guide product and engineering toward Epic roadmap alignment while

Qualifications

• 8+ years in healthcare systems integration and Epic exposure.
• Deep Epic knowledge including campaign management, patient portal, and integration technologies.
• Strong interoperability standards: HL7 FHIR (R4), SMART on FHIR, HL7 v2, C-CDA, REST APIs.
• HIPAA, PHI handling and HITRUST-like compliance experience.
• Client-facing solution architecture across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Excellent communication for client and internal stakeholder discussions.

Responsibilities

• Define and own standard integration patterns between WebMD Ignite products and the Epic platform.
• Serve as the single senior technical contact for Epic-related client engagements.
• Lead discovery, integration design, and technical delivery for Epic work to onboard new clients.
• Track Epic release calendar and translate roadmap into product implications.
• Monitor partner programs and marketplace requirements to strengthen Epic ecosystem positioning.
• Raise Epic fluency across the engineering organization through enablement and architecture references.
• Ensure Epic integrations meet HIPAA/PHI handling requirements and client compliance obligations.
