Job summary

Sage Care in Palo Alto is seeking an Epic Integration Specialist to own the full lifecycle of Epic and other EHR integrations with healthcare partners. You’ll translate partner workflows into reliable, scalable integrations while collaborating with product, engineering, and AI/ML teams to launch solutions.

As a specialist, you’ll build and scale integration frameworks, work directly with clients, and nurture trusted partnerships to deliver seamless data exchange across providers and health

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Software engineering experience.
  • Experience with EPIC integrations is a must.
  • Experience working with partners in iterative fashion gathering feedback.
  • Strong backend engineering skills and systems thinking.
  • Experience turning novel techniques into testable prototypes.
  • Comfortable working with clients to understand workflows and drive launches.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own EPIC and other EHR integrations.
  • Identify APIs to read/write data to EPIC based on product needs.
  • Architect integrations with EPIC based on the healthcare partner’s setup.
  • Create an overarching framework to unify integrations with our products.
  • Enable scaling of this integration infrastructure across healthcare partners.
  • Build relationships with partners to understand systems and drive integration efforts.
  • Maintain long-term integrations and ensure ongoing alignment with client needs.
