Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC seeks a Senior Technical Designer for our Healthcare Practice. The Senior TD will lead technical execution, develop design concepts, and prepare construction documentation for hospitals and medical centers.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to NELSON standards and codes. Strong experience in Healthcare Design is required along with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required.
• Experience with Healthcare Design projects (Hospitals/Medical Centers) is required.
• Strong leadership and ability to coordinate disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of construction documentation.
• Coordinate with project team and consultants.
• Develop design concepts and prepare 2D/3D drawings.
• Prepare and conduct client presentations.
• Oversee QA/QC of documents to ensure design intent and code compliance.
