Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC in California seeks a Senior Technical Designer to lead development of construction documents for healthcare facilities. You will mentor teammates, coordinate with project teams, and render design solutions that meet client goals and codes.

Expertise in AutoCAD and Revit is required, along with Deltek Vantagepoint proficiency. You will work on hospitals, medical centers, and physician offices with a focus on documentation and construction execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or related field.
• 10+ years' experience in architecture or related field.
• Experience on Healthcare Design projects (Hospitals/Clinics).
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required.
• Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of construction documentation for large/complex projects.
• Coordinate with project team, consultants, and contractors.
• Develop design concepts and render drawings in 2D/3D.
• Prepare client presentations and project deliverables.
• Oversee QA/QC of documents to ensure design intent and codes.
• Coordinate system integration and material specifications.
• Produce written project documentation using NESLON formats.
• Lead technical development and ensure timely timesheets/expenses.
