Job summary

Nemours is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to join the Nemours Children's Health team in Jacksonville, Florida. The role entails managing design and construction projects from concept through occupancy, maintaining budgets, schedules, and quality outcomes, while ensuring patient and family safety and minimizing disruption to hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5–7 years’ experience as owner’s representative PM in healthcare facilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication with high-level administration.
• Familiarity with NFPA 99, FGI Guidelines, NFPA 101 and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from concept to turnover and occupancy.
• Establish budgets and master schedules; monitor changes and approvals.
• Lead design review with stakeholders ensuring code compliance.
• Coordinate with hospital staff to minimize disruption; host meetings.
• Present projects for committee review and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee project closeout, inspections and certifications.
• Communicate goals and risks to all stakeholders throughout the project.
