Job summary

Nemours is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Wilmington, DE. This role leads design and construction management for renovations and new buildings, spanning budgets from under $20k to $50M+, and collaborates with the Corporate Facilities Department to deliver safe, timely, and compliant projects.

Key duties include managing budgets and schedules, coordinating with design consultants and hospital staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; healthcare PM experience may substitute
• Experience managing design and construction of healthcare facilities
• Strong communication with high-level administration

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from concept to turnover and occupancy
• Lead design and construction team selections and bidding processes
• Develop conceptual budgets and master schedules; monitor budgets and schedules
• Review drawings for code compliance and quality; lead design reviews
• Coordinate with hospital staff to minimize impact on families and patients
• Present projects to committees and ensure safety, quality, and compliance
• Ensure turnover and closeout, manage contractors and vendors for quality and safety
• Communicate goals and risks to stakeholders and administration
• Handle additional duties as needed
