Job summary

Vivo HealthStaff Inc. is seeking a Senior Counsel, Health Tech to serve as the primary legal advisor for a growing portfolio of health tech clients.

The role focuses on HIPAA compliance, FDA digital health guidance, and complex healthcare regulation, with deep expertise in health tech transactional work. The position requires strong experience in drafting BAAs and related agreements, plus fluency with AI-native legal workflows.

Qualifications

8–15 years of specialized healthcare regulatory and health tech transactional experience.
Extensive experience drafting and negotiating BAAs and health tech agreements.
Active bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction; US-based with willingness to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Advise clients across HIPAA compliance, FDA digital health frameworks, and healthcare regulatory matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate BAAs, vendor agreements, and health data-sharing arrangements.
Build and maintain healthcare contract templates and precedent libraries integrated into AI-native workflows.
Develop training materials and lead sessions to guide non-specialist attorneys on healthcare issues.
Translate regulatory complexity into clear, founder-friendly guidance while collaborating with internal tech teams.
