Job summary

Vivo HealthStaff Inc. seeks a Senior Counsel, Health Tech to lead regulatory and transactional work for its AI-native health tech clients. This remote, US-based role focuses on complex healthcare compliance and strategic guidance.

You will draft BAAs, vendor agreements, and data-sharing arrangements, while advising founders on HIPAA, FDA digital health guidelines, and compliance in a fast-growing practice. A US bar is required, with 8–15 years of specialized experience.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of specialized healthcare regulatory and health tech transactional experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience drafting and negotiating BAAs and health tech agreements.
• Expert knowledge of HIPAA, FDA digital health guidance, and healthcare compliance.
• Active use of AI tools in legal workflows.
• Active U.S. bar admissions in at least one jurisdiction; US-based.
• Experience building precedent libraries or playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Provide client and founder advisory across HIPAA compliance, FDA digital health frameworks, and healthcare regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate BAAs, vendor agreements, health data-sharing arrangements, and health tech deals.
• Build and maintain contract templates and precedent libraries integrated with AI-native workflows.
• Develop training materials and lead educational sessions for non-specialist attorneys.
• Translate regulatory complexity into clear guidance while partnering with internal tech teams to optimize legal delivery tools.
