Job summary

UW Medicine seeks a Senior Health System Project Manager to lead large, enterprise-critical initiatives in a matrixed environment, directing multiple workstreams and coordinating with other project managers to ensure project outcomes on time and within budget.

You will engage senior and executive leaders, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and mentor team members using standard PM practices and tools across the portfolio to align with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, health care administration or related field.
• 9+ years of demonstrated success/results in project management.
• 4+ years interacting with senior/executive leadership (Director level and above).
• Experience across strategic planning, operations, financial/regulatory programs, School of Medicine or academic medicine, or enterprise partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management for full life cycle of large-scale, enterprise-critical initiatives.
• Create structure and approach for managing complex, multi-workstream projects.
• Lead major projects with minimal supervision; make recommendations to executive and physician leaders.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and change requests.
• Guide and direct the work of other project managers on shared initiatives across workstreams.
• Manage multiple related projects within a program for alignment with strategic objectives.
• Mentor project managers and junior team members on standard processes and tools.
