The role emphasizes structuring multi-workstream projects, aligning initiatives with strategic objectives, and mentoring other project managers while ensuring scope, schedule, and budget control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, health care administration, or related field.
• 9+ years of project management experience overseeing multiple projects.
• 4+ years interacting with senior/executive leadership at the Director level or above.
• Experience in strategic planning, operations, financial/regulatory programs, or academic medicine.
• Fluency in traditional waterfall PM with some exposure to agile methodologies.
• Ability to guide project managers on shared initiatives without formal authority.
• Strong executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for large-scale, enterprise-critical initiatives.
• Create structure for managing complex, multi-workstream projects.
• Lead major projects with minimal supervision and advise leadership.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and change requests.
• Guide the work of other project managers on complex initiatives.
• Manage multiple related projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Mentor project managers and junior team members on standard processes and tools.
