Job summary

UW Medicine Ambulatory Division in Seattle seeks a Project Manager to lead and coordinate high-priority operations projects across facilities, IT, and finance. This 100% FTE role offers hybrid work with some remote capacity.

You will drive project lifecycles, establish governance, monitor milestones, risks and issues, and report to sponsors using tools like Smartsheet, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel and SharePoint to keep initiatives on scope, schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, healthcare administration or related field.
• At least 7 years of demonstrated success in Project Management and overseeing multiple projects.
• Ability to influence leaders and teams to adopt new processes.
• Strong executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with project tools: charters, project plans, RAID logs, RACI, MS Office and SharePoint.
• Equally capable of coordinating cross-functional teams including IT, Facilities and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex operational projects throughout the full lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Monitor project health with milestones, scope, risks, issues and resources.
• Build and use standard project management tools and governance across multiple stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sponsors and leaders to define key success metrics for the project.
• Establish governance, manage risks and issues, and handle escalations to maintain scope and schedule.
