Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field (Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Economics, Public Health, Public Policy, etc.).
• Demonstrated history of progressively more responsible statistical programming experience.
• 4+ years professional experience with statistical software, SAS preferred (i.e., conducting survival analysis).
• Excellent understanding of statistical concepts and health care analytical approaches.
• Strong oral/written communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research development with lead investigators and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Contribute to the design of analytical approaches for specific research questions.
• Adhere to established analytics, documentation, and coding standards (e.g., code reviews, checklists).
• Produce papers for journals and perform analyses for funders and committees.
• Prepare medical and statistical research papers and presentations for epidemiologic and health policy work.
• Assist authors with tables and figures for written materials.
• Present results in public forums to biostatisticians and clinicians, representing Arbor Research.
