Job summary

One Medical in Hyannis, MA is seeking an Administrative Assistant (Member Support Specialist) to serve as the in-person ambassador for patients. You will manage front-desk workflows, schedule, and patient intake while delivering exceptional service in a welcoming environment.

You will collaborate with the Practice Coordinator and Operations Manager, ensuring the space reflects the One Medical brand and that patient feedback is captured and acted upon with empathy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to adapt under change and take action under pressure.
• Proficiency with typing, internet navigation and multiple software systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake and scheduling, including follow-up tasks.
• Front-of-house duties: check-in/check-out, insurance verification, paperwork.
• Support team through huddles, problem solving and provider assistance.
• Master technology suite (Slack, G-Suite, Zoom) for daily interactions.
• Open/close office and maintain clean, organized spaces.
