Job summary

Milliman is seeking an experienced Health & Group Benefits Consultant to lead health and group benefits engagements for multiemployer clients. The role focuses on benefits design, delivery, vendor management, and strategy, with the potential to support public and/or corporate clients.

A 10+ year track record in multiemployer health consulting is required, along with actuarial collaboration and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least ten years of multi-employer health consulting experience with health and life insurance license(s).
• Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• Experience working with actuaries is required.
• Knowledge of legislation, market trends, and issues affecting the multiemployer health market.
• Experience with retiree market coverage including Medicare programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead health and group benefits engagements, manage client projects and relationships, and deliver strategic guidance on plan design, funding arrangements, and vendor management.
• Oversee marketing and vendor searches across all coverage lines, including medical and pharmacy.
• Build, strengthen, and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders, executives, prospects, providers, and partners.
• Mentor consultants and project teams with technical expertise and leadership guidance.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and contribute to practice growth and proposals.
