Job summary

Milliman seeks an experienced Health Consultant to lead health and group benefit engagements, manage client projects, and deliver strategic guidance on plan design, funding, and vendor management. The role requires strong client relationships and a collaborative approach.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in multiemployer health consulting, understands Medicare matters, and can contribute to business development while guiding team members through complex projects.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of multi-employer health consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of benefits design, delivery and strategy.
• Experience with multiemployer plans; public and/or corporate clients is a plus.
• Health and life insurance licenses are required.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead health and group benefit engagements and manage client projects and relationships.
• Provide strategic guidance on plan design, funding arrangements, vendor evaluation and management.
• Oversee complex client engagements, coordinating project execution and delivering high-quality results.
• Manage marketing and vendor search processes across lines, focusing on medical and pharmacy coverage.
• Collaborate across Milliman practices to deliver integrated client solutions and maintain internal partnerships.
• Support business development activities including proposals and meetings.
