Job summary

Veeva Systems, Inc. is a Work Anywhere company seeking a Senior Health Data Analyst to manage data quality and TRL governance for health data within the Veeva Compass product suite.

You will query prescription and claims data, standardize reference data, and build dashboards to track quality metrics, collaborating with data scientists, product managers, and developers to improve data pipelines and cross-functional data initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience analyzing record-level prescription and medical claims datasets.
• 4+ years of experience in health data quality analysis, data profiling, and data governance principles.
• Advanced SQL proficiency, with extensive experience querying, manipulating, and aggregating large-scale relational databases.
• Deep working knowledge of healthcare code sets and industry standards, including NDC, ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, LOINC, and payer/plan reference data.
• Proven track record in data storytelling: experience analyzing, visualizing, and communicating data quality findings to stakeholders using Excel, BI tools, or dashboards.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, quantitative, or healthcare informatics field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive TRL Governance: Maintain and expand the TRL with core reference datasets.
• Evaluate and integrate new data sources into core schemas.
• Execute quality and cleansing workflows to ensure data completeness and timeliness.
• Investigate data anomalies and assess downstream impact across Veeva products.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards to track data quality metrics and documentation.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Developers to optimize data pipelines.
