Job summary

Veeva Systems is hiring a Senior Health Data Analyst to drive data quality and integration within the Veeva Compass product suite. You will manage the Terminology Reference Library (TRL) and ensure accurate, scalable reference data across prescription and medical claims.

You will leverage advanced SQL to query large datasets, build dashboards, and collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Developers to improve data pipelines and reliability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience analyzing record-level prescription and medical claims datasets.
• 4+ years of experience in health data quality analysis, data profiling, and data governance.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for large-scale relational databases.
• Knowledge of healthcare code sets: NDC, ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, LOINC, payer data.
• Experience communicating data quality findings to stakeholders using BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand the Terminology Reference Library (TRL) across core datasets.
• Query, map, and integrate new data sources into existing core schemas.
• Perform data quality cleansing, missing value handling, deduplication, and timeliness checks.
• Investigate data anomalies and assess impact on downstream products.
• Develop dashboards to track data quality metrics and contribute to documentation.
