Job summary

Veeva Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Health Data Analyst to support payer data within the Compass Product Team in the US. You will drive collection, normalization and governance of payer reference data, ensuring high quality data for our Compass suite.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, QA, Terminologists, and Data Analysts to deliver trusted data and enable scalable automation in payer data workflows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years working with healthcare data.
• Deep understanding of US insurance market and payer relationships.
• Proficient in SQL for large data sets.
• Experience identifying new data sources and extraction practices.
• Experience in data governance and naming conventions.
• Collaborative across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collect and maintain source data, identify data sources, and automate processes.
• Analyze data quality and refine matching to reduce unmapped data.
• Establish governance standards, documentation, and stewardship models.
• Stay current on payer landscape and market trends affecting data products.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and analysts to build scalable data pipelines.
