Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Health Data Analyst to drive data quality and standardization within the Terminology Reference Library (TRL) for health data from prescription and medical claims. You will manage reference data, query datasets, and contribute to validation reports and technical documentation.

You will partner with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Developers to build robust data pipelines, develop dashboards, and ensure scalable integration across Veeva Compass product

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience analyzing record-level prescription and medical claims datasets.
• 4+ years of experience in health data quality analysis, data profiling, and data governance principles.
• Advanced SQL proficiency with large-scale relational databases.
• Deep working knowledge of healthcare code sets (NDC, ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, LOINC) and payer/plan reference data.
• Experience with data storytelling using Excel, BI tools, or dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Drive TRL Governance: manage and expand the Terminology Reference Library across prescription and medical claims.
• Evaluate & integrate new data sources into core schemas.
• Execute data quality and cleansing workflows to ensure completeness and timeliness.
• Investigate data anomalies and assess downstream customer impact.
• Build interactive dashboards to track data quality metrics and contribute to documentation.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Developers to build robust data pipelines.
