Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Health Data Analyst to analyze health data within the Veeva Compass suite. You will manage reference data across prescription and medical claims, ensuring data quality and scalable integration with core schemas.

You will query data sources, map fields, and track data quality metrics through dashboards. You will collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Developers to improve data pipelines and validate changes, supporting long-term data governance

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience analyzing record-level prescription and medical claims datasets.
• 4+ years of experience in health data quality analysis, data profiling, and data governance principles.
• Advanced SQL proficiency with large-scale relational databases.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare code sets and industry standards (NDC, ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, LOINC).
• Experience with data storytelling and presenting findings to stakeholders using Excel, BI tools or dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Drive TRL governance by managing core reference datasets across prescription and medical claims.
• Evaluate and integrate new data sources into core schemas through data querying and field mapping.
• Execute quality and cleansing workflows: identify discrepancies, handle missing values, deduplicate, ensure data quality.
• Investigate data anomalies, test data changes and assess downstream impact.
• Build interactive dashboards to track data quality metrics and contribute to documentation.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers and Developers to improve data pipelines.
