Howard Brown Health is seeking a Senior Practice Manager to oversee daily operations across health centers in Chicago. You will act as the primary contact for facilities and safety while guiding a team to deliver patient-centered care.

You will ensure OSHA/IDPH compliance, oversee staff development, and coordinate monthly meetings to improve performance. A bachelor’s degree and healthcare management experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years operation management experience; 3+ years healthcare management incl. direct people management.
• Knowledge of PCMH principles and practices.
• Ability to create a patient-centered environment.
• Knowlege of care team roles, on-site or remote.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Handle highly confidential information professionally.
• Analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Timely, independent decision making.
• Strong written, verbal, and listening communication.
• Proficient with MS Office, EPIC, and EHR.
• Ability to manage complex issues.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion and diversity.
• Ability to work affirmatively with LGBTQ and HIV positive patients.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of health centers and serves as the single point of contact for facilities and safety.
• Manages direct reports, sets expectations, monitors performance, and provides coaching.
• Ensures center compliance with OSHA, IDPH, and other standards with Medical Director.
• Maintains high standard of customer service and investigates compliance issues.
• Plans monthly staff meetings to review operations and outcomes.
• Coordinates workflow and schedules; adheres to PCMH and daily huddles.
• Ensures adherence to safety, clinical service delivery, HR, and quality policies.
• Participates in organization-wide quality and performance initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
