Restore Oakland is seeking a Senior Healing Justice Organizer in Oakland, CA to grow a base of systems-impacted and working-class residents and develop leadership through healing justice practices.

You will collaborate with the Lead Healing Justice Organizer, design and run an effective membership pipeline, and empower member organizers to become movement leaders and community stewards. This is a hybrid remote/in-person role with evenings and weekends expected.

Qualifikationen

• Proven commitment to racial, economic, and gender justice.
• Experience facilitating group processes, trainings, or mediating conflict.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Experience engaging diverse stakeholders and communities.

Aufgaben

• Conduct consistent in-person outreach to recruit members in Alameda County.
• Plan and facilitate regular HJ Membership meetings and activities.
• Develop and implement member absorption and leadership pipelines.
• Lead mutual aid efforts and coordinate restorative justice programming.
• Advocate for Restore Oakland’s policy priorities in local spaces.
