Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a HCM Techno‑Functional Senior Analyst to lead platform modernization and automation initiatives across HR systems. The role requires deep functional knowledge with hands‑on technical expertise in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, PeopleTools, and related tools.

You will mentor staff, design scalable solutions, and drive measurable efficiency gains while leveraging AI and cloud‑based data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.60+.
• Strong experience in system analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support for HCM modules.
• Deep understanding of PeopleSoft HCM data models and ability to manipulate data safely.
• Proficiency with PeopleSoft development tools and SQL for pages, reports, interfaces, and integrations.
• Experience integrating PeopleSoft HCM with other systems via APIs, flat files, or middleware.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior advocate for Corporate HCM systems and modernization efforts.
• Act as primary functional and technical SME for Core HCM modules for HR users.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, tested HCM solutions with usability in mind.
• Elicit requirements via stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
• Analyze HR data flows to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and performance.
• Develop and support HCM apps, analytics, dashboards, and integrations; hands-on as needed.
• Deliver enhancements with minimal customization using configuration and best practices.
• Create HR analytics and reporting to aid compliance and decision support.
• Own SDLC lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, support.
• Ensure migrations and deliverables are fully tested, documented, and compliant with changes.
• Collaborate with project managers, analysts, developers, and data teams to estimate effort.
