Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead and optimize HR and payroll analytics within PeopleSoft HCM. The role focuses on integrations, general ledger alignment, and automation opportunities across finance and HR systems.

The analyst will support enterprise system optimization, manage cross-functional projects, and train colleagues on Payroll distribution processes, reports, and data management. Strong communication and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or information systems and 3+ years of related experience.
• Strong experience with PeopleSoft HCM integrations and HR/payroll analytics.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert/module delegate for PeopleSoft HCM Commitment Accounting including system upgrades or implementation of new features/modules.
• Process day-to-day payroll distribution in PeopleSoft HCM including journal generation for weekly, biweekly, and monthly payrolls.
• Reconcile data integrity between subsystems and resolve functional issues in Payroll interfaces and data extraction.
