Job summary

Brillio is seeking a Sr. Engineer- HCM Integrations to partner with the HCM Integration Manager as a key technical leader for the team.

This role provides architectural oversight, continuity, and day-to-day technical guidance across the HCM integration landscape. You will drive technical decisions for integrations with major platforms like Fidelity, Shareworks, Aetna, and other HR systems, mentor engineers, and shape delivery through roadmaps, governance, and robust runbooks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application engineering, HCM integrations, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Experience as Lead/Principal/Staff Engineer with responsibility for complex architecture and engineering best practices.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise HCM platforms and large-scale integrations.
• Strong knowledge of HCM security models, roles, and access controls.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and support HCM integrations with third-party providers.

Responsibilities

• Act as principal technical counterpart to the HCM Integration Manager, providing continuity across technical responsibilities.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership for integrations supporting HCM and third-party platforms.
• Lead architecture reviews, code quality, testing, deployment practices, monitoring, and production support.
• Mentor engineers and establish consistent engineering practices across the team.
• Develop succession plans and ensure continuity during leadership absence.
• Support incident management with monitoring, escalation paths, and recovery procedures.
